Zambesi put on quite a show last year with their #zamfam tag and plenty of fashion’s familiar faces filling the catwalk dressed head to toe in Zambesi.  They took that family theme a bit closer to home this time, with many of the close knit staff from the stores strutting their stuff down the chalk-smeared runway at Golden Dawn last week. Dressed in much of their signature silk, with sequins added for texture, the show was a feminine one, punctuated with hits of pattern with both zodiacs and daisies. Black was/is always the colour with Zambesi, but with navys, nudes, browns and creams thrown in for good measure.

With a soundtrack of 90’s club tracks (KLF, Nenah Cherry and Malclom McLaren) it was a party from the very start.  Again working with Jason Chong Li for Stephen Marr with O&M the hair was simple and slick. The makeup was directed by Kiekie Stanners for M.A.C. The shoes of choice were Jack Purcell’s from Converse. Zambesi’s summer collection is starting to roll into store now.
