The thing about the whole Marr Factory project, is it gives us a chance to see things on the runway that we can walk straight and buy the next day. It seems like an easy premise, but I love that they take it to a whole new level playing with the look and feel of each show to work with the designers involved. The NOM*d show managed to work in a whole spooky alien beauty theme with white painted models gliding down the runway showing NOM*d’s ss2014/2015 NO*SENSE. With a splash of madder red and orange added (LOVE the orange socks) to the monochrome palette, (as well as a dash of cinnamon brown), it was a case of expect the unexpected. The finale with black lights turning the white masks into something completely ‘other worldy’ was a fabulous way to end. The hair was done by Jason Chong Li for Stephen Marr and the makeup was done Kiekie Stanners for MAC Cosmetics.
