I am all for colour in as many places as possible (just not in my own wardrobe). There are just bursts of colour everywhere at the moment and whether it is just that spring feeling, or that people are slowing feeling more confident about colour (that is my hope) – it is just popping up everywhere! So here are my favorites pieces at the moment. So you get a double hit of interiors this week before the fashion fortnight that is The MARR Factory and New Zealand Fashion Week.

I love this metal cabinet from Collected By LeeAnn Yare in bright sunny yellow… Theodore has it next to bed to keep all his asthma medication – so we all know where it is in the middle of the night.  It is bright yellow so you just can’t miss it.  There is also a white version.  It is just $99 – so it is perfect for a pop of colour in a bathroom, or just about anywhere…

I love these cushions by BlueBellGrey.  Not only is the fabric available from James Dunlop Textiles, but the cushions, bedding and other bit and bobs are now available in New Zealand.  Stocked  at Allium and Harrowset Hall in Newmarket, Milly’s in Arch Hill, Auckland as well as Kirks in Wellington, Ballentynes in Christchurch…

I love these ICE Pantone watches in Jazzy and Tile Blue. Not only can you use these colours in interiors (well I would) but you can wear them as well…

These coloured satchels from Thick as Thieves based in sunny Bay of Plenty but you can find them on-line if you are looking for a coloured leather satchel.  I love the purple and also the bright yellow (bit of a theme here I feel).  They retail for just $185 and they have a ‘handy’ handle on the top to carry them instead of just slinging them over your shoulder.

The stalwart of the clean white interior Father Rabbit has opened a ‘guest house’ on the website which is the perfect vehicle for all their new coloured pieces. And colourful they are! But all pieces that mix beautifully with their simple white aesethic… so you can add a little, or alot! These are my favourite bits…
