Auckland is putting on her glam frock and getting ready to put her best foot forward as the Fashion in the Big Little City returns this year in conjunction with RESENE. All things fashionable are happening across the city with lots to see and be part of. And a lot of it is free. You just have to love that!

The Britomart Fashion Sessions with Westpac just confirm what everyone knows, that Britomart in the uncontested heart of the fashion city these days. With the Tyler Street Runway Shows you get a lot of bang for your buck. With individual current season AW2013 shows from Trelise Cooper, Juliette Hogan, and Kathryn Wilson (all $45 each) and a fabulous combined show from fashion heavy weights WORLD, Zambesi and Kate Sylvester ($65)(tickets available from iticket here) on the 1st and 2nd March. I am going to the Zambesi show and am very excited about it! You are guaranteed seating at the show, complimentary valet parking, pre show drinks at the Nathan Club (where you get to mingle with the designers) and a fantastic ‘Bag of Gorgeousness’.  I have it on good authority that the goodie bag is amazing… The hair will be done by Ryder Salon and makeup by marvelous M.A.C. for all the shows. You can also just show up for strictly limited free standing entry which is available on a first come, first serve basis.

As well as these ticketed shows, there are also two free shows – On the Street featuring Co-Lab, Nike, Timberland, Storeroom and Laudromat & On The Town featuring Ted Baker, RJB Design and Taylor.  Both of these shows are on Saturday 1st March at 12.oo and 1.30 respectively.  Over the two days, parking will be a standard $10 to encourage us all to park nice and close.
