There are a lot of new stores opening at the present moment, with Ponsonby Central, and also the Britomart Precinct moving into high gear. Stolen Girlfriends Club has finally opened its first retail store in their warehouse space at 31 Crummer Rd Grey Lynn. With them making full use of the masonry walls, with addition of steel shelves to add to the industrial feel. The large cubed mirror in the middle of the space makes it feel larger than it is, and reflects the clothing making it the focus. We loved the display light boxes  for the jewelry with the large skull prints on them. The fabulous Wild Poppies florist dressed the store with rambling, shambling flowers which were a perfect foil to the industrial feel. All in all a perfect space for the irreverent label, open now.
