working style & tk store
Friday night saw the fashion faithful (and my Husband) fill Coutts Mercedes Benz in Newmarket to capacity (and then some) to drink Penfolds wine, taste whiskey, check out slick mens suits and see gorgeous womenswear. Showing in-season were Working Style mens suits and Turet Knuefermann’s very chic TK Store label. I have always liked her very feminine, well cut designs that are both flattering and sexy. She uses colour to good effect as well. And that is high praise from someone who is slightly obsessed with a black silhouette! The floaty silk dresses with both short and long hemlines, are dresses that can take you from work to an evening out. What I particularly like about them is that the shorter hemlines dresses could just as easily be thrown over a pair of pants and belted to change the look entirely. I am very fond of her fur clutches as well. Her summer collection is in-store, with Ponsonby and the City both having great staff who are very helpful. Always a plus with me.
Working Style has stores at The Chancery, Parnell, Ponsonby, Christchurch and Wellington. Seriously slick. There is much to be said about a man is a tailored suit, and unfortunately there are still men NOT listening. Get yourselves to Working Style. Their shirts are just gorgeous (as well as their suits)!
Photographs by the Lovely Michelle Weir who managed to get herself to the front of the crowd to get the shots… my hat is off to you! Such dedication…
totally agree. great night and really great people in attendance. The House of Whiskey had a great time albeit there were ‘working’.
The Husband was greatly disappointed to not get to taste your wares… he is quite partial to a drop of whisky! Everyone seemed to have great time and I hear two cars were sold as well, just to top it all off!
