Last week saw the three finalist for DHL Express Fashion Scholarship announced.  With I Love Ugly, Ingrid Starnes and Gosia Paitek’s Kowtow all being chosen, the overall winner will be announced on Tuesday night at Libertine by DHL and FINZ.  We will bring you the shots of the night and let you know who won the coveted title.

Cybele and Meadowlark released their beautiful new designs down in conjunction with the SPCA.  Needing to raise $200,000 to meet rising costs, Cybele has created a design for dog lovers, and Meadowlark a design for cat lovers. As well as t-shirts, for both adults and children, totes, and mugs, Meadowlark have done a necklace that can be bought from their on-line store www.meadowlark.co.nz and $65 from the purchase goes to the SPCA. Go on-line to spca.org.nz for all the other products.  I just LOVE the children’s t-shirts… too gorgeous!

Wednesday night saw Celine Rita show her in season collection.  She is known for her pretty dresses, and we liked the multicoloured bright little number as well as the pink sequined skirt and top.  Photography on the night was by Michelle Weir. Michelle will be busy this week with DHL on Tuesday night and Working Style and TK Store showing their in-season collections on Friday.  And as well as both Showroom 22 and Ciel Pr having their Media Days this week, so we will get to see upcoming winter collections.  Can’t believe we are doing this and summer hasn’t even started properly yet!
