nzfw 2012 – coop

COOP is most certainly the little funkier sister to her two older sister labels, Cooper and Trelise Cooper. With quite a different feel to last year, and maybe a bit of of Trelise’s guiding hand at work, COOP felt a lot more colourful and had lots of those wonderful sequins (I never complain about sequins – it’s not possible to have too many in my fashion universe). With some rather wonderful florals straight out of the box, that just kept coming – mixed in with some velvets – loved the velvet floral jacket over a sequin dress.  Which then moved nicely into some shimmery sequins – making sure the metallics were well represented in this collection. With bright blues, coats, stacked creepers, fuchsia pinks – it all just kept coming.  I am still liking the dresses over trousers that we keep seeing…My favorite outfit was a black t-shirt with red piping on the sleeve, and a graphic star print on the front… I would be wearing that in a heart beat…
